What I've been wearing
8 Sept 2010
1st Row: Gap t-shirt, Charity Shop cardigan, Charity Shop necklaces
2nd Row: Charity Shop dress, Uniqlo Jeans, Dorothy Perkins scarf
I've always loved the idea of creating a capsule wardrobe: a collection of pieces that coordinate with each other. I'm not organised or minimalist enough to achieve a totally capsule wardrobe, but I do love to pieces that mix and match.
Over the last few weeks I've been wearing a lot of navy with coral and was so excited to find a scarf that incorporates both colours! I think this coat by APC is my ultimate dream, but at $560 it's likely that I'll stick with the navy blue one from UO that I bought a couple of years ago!

I definitely couldn't have a totally capsule wardrobe either, but this is an insanely cool idea.

I love your necklaces: I have a collection of big-bright-beaded necklaces myself & I wear them all the time.
I love this---I always want to do the same thing, but I usually end up with all black or grey pieces in my closet when I try. Beautiful picture!
love the way you've layed it out! I was thinking of you today while I was giving a design crit. How is school?
this is a very neat layout of clothes you have assembled here. I too would love a capsule wardrobe but my tastes are too eclectic to ever achieve that.
i love my uniqlo jeans... so comfy and great fit... have a nice weekend!
I LOVEEE the colors!!
Ooh I love the colour combo, coral and navy. They look like really nice pieces. I like the way you've laid them out for this post!
I couldn't do a capsule wardrobe because I spontaneously buy clothes.

I love this color combination! I like the idea of a capsule wardrobe, though I don't know if I'd have enough discipline to go with one all the way! Lately it seems I'm only buying grey or green things.
