Can I do a star jump in that?

That's what I always ask myself when I try on something in a shop. I'm really fussy about comfort and feel claustrophobic in pieces that restrict movement. My biggest nightmare are sleeves that are fitted around the wrist preventing me from rolling them up, or a shirt that's fitted across the shoulders making it uncomfortable to put both arms above my head. And don't get me started on fabric. I need to be able to b-r-e-a-t-h-e. That doesn't necessarily mean natural fibres, but I just have to get the right feeling when I'm wearing it. My wardrobe mainly consists of jersey: I can do my star jumps and breathe! My husband laughs at me when we're out shopping, but I just can't help it.

Can anyone else relate to these issues of comfort?

I can't say I'm quite as fussy as you sound, but when I go shopping I like to wear something thats easy to change in and out of, I couldnt stand undoing lots of buttons and things. I love the photo too.

Thankyou for following my blog! I really appreciate it, I will be back to visit.

not that fussy but i love when clothes feel comfortable, clothes that you wont feel like wanting to get home and get rid of them all day. Love jersey, most comfortable fabric ever!

star jump! you are so funny! were you a cheerleader in high school? I was.

I am kind of picky. It took me until last month to wear skinny jeans. Thick material that is too tight makes me feel similar to your description. I started wearing a lot of the baby doll type shirts 2 summers ago and my husband finally asked me why I was dressing like I was pregnant:) I've tried to tone it down on those shirts, even though I think they are the most comfortable

I am terribly fussy! I check the seams and make sure they won't be itchy and I hate fabric that makes me me feel like I can't breathe. I've almost ripped a shirt off I was trying on when it was too tight around the neck and wrists. So, yeah, I'm fussy too. :o)

hahaha that's so funny! i can picture the star jump and i love it!
i'm not too fussy. as long as i can move freely (especially my arms)i'm good. i can suffer a certain degree of discomfort if i really like the outfit.

Yes, I can totally relate, comfort first. I can't wear something just because it looks great.

We are visiting UK this spring. It will be interesting to see London fashion and what people wear over there. I find Europeans are more in style than us in North America.
Cheers!

It's a great idea to make sure clothes are comfortable like that before buying them! Otherwise I think they end up in the back of the closet, not being worn much.
